I LOVE YOU explores the fragile relationship between affection, protection and control.

Through recurring symbols of chains, barbed wire and handwritten expressions of love, the work examines the contradictions between emotional connection and confinement.

Combining drawing, painting and raw material surfaces, the composition moves between tenderness and aggression, intimacy and distance.

Part of an ongoing artistic exploration of vulnerability, attachment and the boundaries we create around ourselves.
